Did I fail to mention, after we used it for a couple weeks, I went straight to buying more of them for everybody. I bought one of these quickly after bringing home a Play Station. We found this cordless to be rapid response, sturdy, easy to handle,it has great distance. I can pick it up immediately and resume play while I walk back into the living areas. Claus, a GREAT value and indespensible part of the gaming experience. Grandpa can sit way back (15 feet) in his recliner and have no hesitation, I can use it from the kitchen, where I am usually busy, and still get great response.
Everyone that uses them, wants one. We are grandparents that like to play with our grandkids, but cords were an absolute heck-no for us. For the money, you cannot beat this gaming devise. I am able to take my turn without having to run to the living area to connect to the game. I'm 25 feet away. Take it from Mrs.

I think they work as well as the original Sony controllers but at a lot better price. I have bought four of these controllers. They have all worked great. We wanted the cordless capability but didn't want to pay $50.00 to get it. So I tried these and they work great.
Batteries are preserved when not in use. Let me be clear: the Logitech cordless controller for the Playstation 2 is a First-Class Champion. Often, "3rd party" controller implies 2nd or 3rd rate quality. Durability, longevity = has outlasted official Sony PS2 Dual Shock. The Logitech surpasses the console-brand in every way conceivable. control / button response = instantaneous & precisebattery life = very long lasting.much longer than 40 hours. Buttons won't wear outComfort / feel = slightly heavier; fits snug and comfortably into young hands. = movement and feel of buttons is very very similar to store brand = Takes little or no time to get used to feel of new controller = ultimately more comfortable than console-brand -- you won't ever want to go back.Wireless aspect of controller is a huge convenience and significantly increases the overall enjoyment of gaming.
And they feel great in my XL hands (glove size). I was a little unhappy to part with so much money for controllers, but I have been very happy with these controllers on all measures. I bought two of these from Amazon a year ago. I have also used Pelican controllers, and their placement of the R and L buttons is horrible. They respond perfectly to my movements. They have lasted all year on the batteries that came with them. Between Pelican, Sony, and Logitech, these controllers are the most comfortable and easy to hold and use. I have also had no problems with playing through thick blankets, or even pausing a game from down a perpendicular hall.My wife also has no problems using these, and her hands are much smaller than mine, so this is probably a great controller no matter your hand size.
I wish it had a rechargeable battery pack instead of taking two AA batteries, but the batteries will last you a good amount of time before they need replacing so it's not much of an issue. I've been using this controller for about a week or two already without any problems. The grip is comfortable, the weight feels solid, and response time is lag-free. I highly recommend this controller to anyone who still plays their PS2. Not being limited by a cord is amazing, and for under 30 bucks you really can't go wrong.
